At Hamilton State School, Instrumental Music is an extension program for students enrolled in Years 3 to 6.
The main objectives of this program are to afford students the opportunity to participate in a group music performance situation and develop skills on their selected instrument.
Students who participate in the instrumental program attend two sessions a week with their teacher. One is a small group lesson in school time and the other is an ensemble rehearsal in their own time (e.g. lunch time/before school). Ensembles perform at various events throughout the year.
Please see below the list of instruments offered at Hamilton State School.
