Hamilton State School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community dedicated to supporting every student to feel connected, engaged, and successful. Alongside strong classroom learning, the school places a high value on student wellbeing and positive play experiences.
During every lunch break throughout the week, class teachers run a variety of enrichment activities where students can participate in organised, adult-led experiences. These activities cater to a wide range of interests, including sporting activities, creative pursuits, group games, Indigenous games and more. These activities ensure students have a welcoming place to go during play breaks where they can feel included, supported and actively engaged. Enrichment activities are reviewed and updated throughout the year in response to student interests and participation.
