A feature of this school is the active and supportive Parents’ and Citizens’ (P&C) association. The evidence of their commitment to the school is their achievements in: improvement of facilities (computers, multi-purpose tennis court, canteen, parent room, playground equipment) and involvement in school development planning and review.
The school is interested in meeting the needs of the local community. The input of parents is valued and the school recognises the importance of building open and honest communication and linking school with home and community. Parents are welcome to participate in various ways: helping children with reading, cooking, art and craft activities; assisting at swimming, participation in the grounds committee, policy formulation and contributions to cultural days and special events.
