Hamilton PCYC Fun Squad Program
Our program is flexible, engaging and responsive to the individual and group interests, strengths, ages and developmental needs of the children in our care. We provide a stimulating environment that encourages participation, creativity, learning and wellbeing through play-based experiences that reflect the children's interests and voices.

Operating times
Before School Care: 6:30am - 8:30am - Breakfast served from 6:45am - 8.15am
After School Care: 3pm - 6pm - Afternoon tea provided.
Vacation Care: 6:30am - 6pm – Afternoon Tea provided. Morning Tea and Lunch provided by the parents unless notified by the service.

How can I enrol my child?
All enrolments can be completed through Kidsoft, please contact the service to receive the link to begin the process of enrolling into Before and After School Care & Vacation Care
At what age can my child attend the service?
The service provides care from prep to grade 6. Grade 6 students can attend the service up until the end of December of their last year in primary school. Grade 6 children are unable to attend in the same year (Jan) they go to high school.
Pre-prep students can start in January (Vacation Care) of the year they start prep. This is a great way to make new friends before school starts and to familiarise themselves with the school and the expectations outlined by PCYC and Fun Squad program. It's also a great way for families to connect with others starting at the beginning of the term 1.
Can I receive the childcare benefits and childcare rebate for using your program?
All parents/caregivers with children attending the PCYC school age care service are eligible to receive government assistance towards their fees (childcare benefits and childcare rebate). Contact the PCYC staff to find out how to apply for this assistance.
Can I make casual bookings?
Staff will endeavour to fit children into our program when needed. These casual bookings are conditional on availability of places and staff ratio. - If you require any assistance, please contact the service.
How much notice do I need to give when cancelling care?
Cancellations require 7 days' notice to avoid a charge. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice will be charged unless a medical certificate is provided.
Does the service apply a late fee if children are collected after operational times or booking in casually?
Late Pick-Up Fee - After School Care ($20.00 for every 15min). Fee charged for picking up the child later than the booking's official end time.
Late Booking Fee ($4.00). Fee charged for creating a booking at late notice.
When are fees due and how can I pay?
Fees are deducted from accounts on Wednesday of the frequency of your choosing. All accounts are to be paid by Friday of each week.
