Meet our chaplain
Hi, I'm Stuart Tidswell and I have been the chaplain at Hamilton SS since 2021. Currently I am employed at Hamilton State School on Thursdays and Fridays each week. I work with classes, groups and individuals depending on the need identified by the school.
I have also worked as a chaplain in several schools over the past decade. I originally studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Information) and worked for 20 years as a TAFE librarian. I am passionate in my support of students, staff and families. I also love cycling, reading and eating in restaurants.
My role here Hamilton State School involves:
- One-to-one pastoral care
- Small group work
- Coaching and refereeing team sport
- Engaging with local community groups and events
