I am honoured and excited to be the Principal at Hamilton State School.
I am a highly experienced and competent educator with a passion for engaging students in meaningful learning programs, to enable each one of them to succeed.
Our goal at Hamilton State School is always to have students feeling great about themselves and their achievements. We firmly believe that getting the basics right, and a strong sense of 'belonging', coupled with our whole staff belief that ALL students can succeed, is key to student success.
The staff at Hamilton State School enthusiastically promote a learning culture in which each student strives to achieve their personal best. We have a deep and extensive knowledge of curriculum, along with knowledge of the most effective ways to overcome any learning barriers through differentiation. We recognise the power of positive relationships so we focus our attention on knowing where each student has come from, where they are now and where or what they want to be in the future. Teachers focus on knowing the whole child, rather than just the student, and in celebrating every success along the way.
