At Hamilton State School, we are proud to celebrate and recognise academic excellence at the end of each school year through our Awards Program. This program acknowledges students from Prep- Year 6 who demonstrate exceptional achievement across Maths and English, with awards based on end-of-semester report card results.

High Achievers
High achieving students in Years 5 & 6 are invited to participate in several afternoon sessions at Kelvin Grove State College across a term. Students nominate a selected program and join students across the Brisbane City Collective to extend their knowledge. These programs include

QACI Bright Minds
At the end of each year, high achieving students in Years 4 & 5 are invited to participate in Queensland Academy Creative Industries (QACI) Bright Minds program the follow year. The program nurtures high-achieving and gifted primary school students through active engagement activities for extension beyond their local educational environment. These programs include
